After every storm, there is calmness and after every war, there is peace. So also when there is hard work and tribulation,
there is a happy ending.
We were like any other ordinary people before we became the Partners in Mission. Selfishness, self centeredness, egoistic
approach was part of our lives. Since, we were also in bad situation of life and work, never felt the pinch and pain of
another person until we become the members of Partners in Mission.
At first, we stood on a plain field not knowing what to do and what was our journey at that point. We put our heads
together to get an idea of what Partners in Mission were. It made us become fish out of water with a new story.
Later we read many inspirational books and works of St. Mary Euphrasia which motivated us also to work for the Zeal
for the salvation of souls.
It was an eye opening programme where we enjoyed working for the poor and needy. That’s how we develop the heart to work
for those who are marginalized and those at the margins.
There was immense joy after every outreach, which we did that made us feel happy. Our hearts kept on inspiring us to
work for the poor more and more. Every meeting and gathering made us feel that we all belong to one family. Our whole
personality changed because we saw that Christ lived in every person.
Meeting and fellowship gave us an opportunity to understand every member and their families. Even the harder
shell in the family encouraged us to give a helping hand towards the Partners in Mission work.
After we became the Partners in Mission, people gained confidence and trust in us. Knowing that we were working
towards their betterment.
As we have realized that God lives in our hearts and every person is a gift of God, our heart always longs for the people of God.
